Shraddha Kapoor Inspired “Eye Makeup”

Holas everyone!
I was down with high fever from the past four days which explains the reason behind this long absence from my blog. I took two days off from my office thinking I would rest a lot and do absolutely nothing but I had some unexpected guests at home and Bam! Kaam karo 😛

Anyhoo, I had been meaning to post this eye makeup from a long time. I absolutely loved it and tried to re-create it. It is not an exact replica because of two reasons. First, I’m not a pro and second, my eye shape is different from hers.

As far as I can make out, she has used a metallic beige eyeshadow all over her lids and has contoured her eyes using a dark brown eyeshadow. In this particular picture, the eyeshadow seems as a dark taupe but on the actual magazine cover, it looks brown. After that, winged eyeliner has been made using a matte black liner and on the bottom lashline, the liner has been applied below her waterline. Applying liner below the waterline is a great way of making small eyes look big. I have even mentioned about it in “My makeup tricks for small eyes” HERE. Now, coming to her eye contouring part, she has blended the eyeshadow to outside in almost a straight direction. This helps in getting a lift in your eyes. I have blended my eyeshadow downwards. Finally, her eye makeup looks is completed by using a *ude kajal and individual false eyelashes on the outside lashes.
