My experience with NYX Butter gloss “Cherry cheesecake”:
To start with, I love the colored packing. It is so pretty to look at. The shade name is written on the bottom. I loved the French name translation, written besides it. The gloss has a regular doe foot applicator and picks up enough product in one go only.
Starting with the texture, it is slightly on the thicker side but applies evenly. It is a little gooey but I do not find it uncomfortable. It has a tendency of settling into lip lines after some time although it’s not really noticeable until you stare at closely. I find it decently moisturizing. It packs a good color on the lips. You can build its’ pigmentation from sheer to medium. It has a lovely glossy finish and stays on me for around 2.5-3 hours.
NYX Butter gloss “Cherry cheesecake” is a muted bright medium orange shade that has warm undertones. If you dread bright orange lipsticks but still have the desire to wear a soft orange, you should surely check out this shade!
Despite of all this, I would still label this NYX butter gloss as a little high maintenance because without properly moisturized lips, it tends to cling to the dry patches as a result of which the finish looks uneven.
And, Ooh! NYX products are Cruelty free! So, Yay! :D/
