Streetwear Color Rich Perfection Compact Neutral Review and Swatches

Today, I’m going to review another affordable Good Indian makeup product. God Bless, Streetwear!

Btw, does anyone knows her name? I tried searching on some online sites, but could not find it. Anyhoo, the illust is pretty! 😀 Plus, I’m so glad that it comes wrapped in a bubble paper. So, not just you get the joy of buying makeup but also of playing with the bubble wrap! If you watch FRIENDS, remember the episode when Joey wraps it around his head and gets hit? Haha! 😀

Streetwear color rich perfection compact comes in a sturdy square packaging and the lid shuts down tightly after every use. There’s also a plastic encase between the sponge and the product which I love. What floored me more was the sponge. It’s a very soft and also thick, with streetwear written on it. And, Ooh! A mirror also inside it. Fun and sturdy packaging. Full points here!
I had apprehensions for the powder being dry at this price point but it is very smooth and disappears within a pat.
Since the sponge is thick, it is able to provide a good coverage for my blemished skin. You can build the coverage from light to medium.
Now, coming to the staying power; I have a very oily and sweaty skin. My face looked pretty presentable after 9 hours with 3 touch-ups in between. I was only wearing sunscreen and this compact from one week. So, I find the staying power also pretty decent. In cool weathers, I see myself using this a lot more.
But with sweat, it disappears. So, make sure to blot your face first in that case and then, touch up.

When I first opened it, I could make out that it had quite a fragrance and I was afraid it would break me out but it didn’t!

*See? Such a big mirror! I have a Bourjois compact which I brought for around Rs.800 and it’s mirror less. A plastic case is always a boon. It happens sometimes when I cant get the time to wash the sponge and then, I have to keep it separately in a box so that it does not touches the powder. In case you are wondering, no, I don’t use the compact with a sponge older than a week. I have a pack of sponges.*

I found this compact pretty good, not just for the price but also in general. This has two shades. The other shade can be a pretty match for the dusky beauties. For medium skin tones, I would suggest this “neutral” shade.
Price: Rs.160
