Inglot AMC Lip Pencil 12 – New found treasure!

I have no idea why I didn’t come across these before! But I think I do! Previously, I only went in to Inglot store to check out the freedom system products, buy them in lot (my makeup grocery shopping :P) and now, with the price hike; my priorities there have changed. So, Thank You, Inglot!
“Someone has rightly said that in every bad, lies good!” That in no way implies that I’m looking forward to any kind of price hike.

My experience with Inglot AMC lip pencil 12:
I love these lip pencils! Why? Why? Didn’t I notice them before?
I was searching for a peach lipstick from past 45 minutes in different brands. The SA’s call the berry, orange and mauve shade as “peach” and no, they did not wanted to listen to me. Plus, when I actually found a nice peach lipstick, it was not in stock (Yes, I noted the shade). Feeling dejected, I thought I had no option but to move onto “MAC” which I did not wanted to. But since Inglot’s store was before MAC, I thought “Hey, let me check out their store first. The pricing can’t really disturb my mind now when I saw lipsticks above Rs.1000 tag at the drugstore brands.

It’s not the first time, but after a long time I think I choose a lipstick in less than 3 minutes!
The Inglot AMC lip pencil comes in a sleek black packaging and with a rotating mechanism. The cap shuts down tightly after every use. I also made the SA there open the pencil till it got all out because I wanted to be sure of the rotating mechanism. I wish these had names. Seriously! Inglot should start naming their products.

Coming to the texture of this lip pencil, it is neither hard nor soft. I wouldn’t say I have to drag it on my lips but I wouldn’t also say that it glides on easily onto lips. Okay! You get it na? :-s Make sure you exfoliate and moisturize your lips well before wearing this. That aside, I have been wearing it from past one week and since I can’t exfoliate lips daily, I just make sure to use a lip balm prior it and blot it before wearing this.

*The pencil is longer than this*

It is a gorgeous peach shade with coral undertones. At first, it came off as a really close shade resemblance to Inglot freedom system lipstick no. 23 (Review HERE) but Inglto one is more peach. And, the pigmentation is amazing! It’s up to you on how much to build the shade intensity. It will cover pigmented lips also fully. I had dinner after 2 hours of wearing it and it came off a little only from the centre. Even after 2 hours of it, it was still there. With light snacks and drinks in between, it lasts much longer. This is the first peach lipstick for me that lasts for at least 4+ hours. You wear it, and it just sets!
These pencils also come with a sharpener at the end (forgot to include the picture! Sowie!) but I think I won’t be using it for a long time. This is because the pencil is not so soft, so it doesn’t lose shape easily (which remind me I can’t lose weight easily.. Heena! Focus!.)

I have also worn it under my favourite peach lipsticks and it actually increases their longevity. Also, since the finish of this is so matte, I had apprehensions about it turning flaky and making “smiling” a difficult thing after some time, but nothing of that sort happened! The finish does not gets patchy with time (leaving one time when my lips started to feel super dry all of a sudden, but it isn’t the pencils’ fault).
Plus, it is:
            Fragrance free
            Paraben free
            Cruelty free
Price: Rs.850
Quantity: 1.8gm (Will last really long! Thank God!)
VCB Rating: 5/5 (Never did I saw this day coming..!)

In short, I love this lip pencil! And, I look forward to bringing more of them home, putting them in the top row of my makeup stand and ogling at them for hours till I get tired my mom shouts!
