Revlon Touch and Glow Moisturizing Powder Review and Swatches

Today, I have a lovely and affordable compact to show to you! Surprisingly, there are still some really nice and affordable products found in our expensive drugstore brands! I brought this compact after I saw this at one of my friends places and instantly loved the smooth finish of this compact.
Revlon touch and glow compact comes in a black casing and the flap shuts down properly. Although I find the packaging a little flimsy, so carry it around safely lest you have butter fingers. I like the plastic encasing between the compact and the puff, which only means less chances of contamination in case you didn’t get time to wash the dirty puff.
It also comes with a mirror.
The puffis really good quality and not like the thin fragile ones. It picks up good amount of product at a single go.
The texture of compact is really silky and light. It’s not at all dry unlike Colorbar compact.
It blends in efficiently with a few taps.
The finish is a non-powdery and soft matte finish, just like the Chambor Compact.
Because of the non-chalky and smooth texture, this works great for dry skin-combination skin. It has never emphasized the dry patches on my skin, unless one is swiping the puff instead of tapping it on skin.
It helps in keeping my combination skin fresh for long hours in winters. However, it isn’t of much use in summers when my skin becomes an oil factory, unless you are wearing a solid primer beneath.
            It doesn’t transfers.
The quantity will easily last for 5-6 months even if you use it every day.
It gives a low coverage if worn alone but a presentable look on my blemished face.
The only sad parts I find about this are that there’s no SPF and a very limited shade selection for dusky skin tones! Sigh! Same story, different brands!
