Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal Review and Swatch

The only reason why I purchased this kohl was because I read rave reviews about it. Please read further to know if this made me rave or not.
Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal is creamy, glides on easily, sets to an almost smudge proof finish within a few seconds and is a jet black shade. I have watery eye corners and it still doesn’t smudges at the ends. It stays on for more than 10 hours with the slightest of smudging. It won’t give you panda eyes ever! Not even close to that!

But if applied on waterline, it does smudges at the corners after some 5 hours and the smudging can be easily made out. For the price, I wasn’t expecting this.

I like the shape of the smudger. It helps in blending out the kohl precisely although I prefer my bristles brush to do that work as I like being gentle on eyes.
The best part about this is that mostly when I use black eye pencils to create a smudged look, the color sheers out and lightens. But that isn’t the case with this. It holds it colour intensity even when smudged for a soft smokey look.
If you are doing a smokey look using this pencil, make sure to blend fast as it sets to a smudge proof finish quite quickly.

If you are looking for a kohl cum liner, I’m not sure if I want to recommend this since the Colorbar I-Glide pencil which I have is more or less the same and costs much less. I’ll do a comparison between both soon!
