PeriPera Water Lip Tint “Orange Juice” Review and Swatch

I was just browsing through e-bay some days back and found this cute looking product. I thought it would be nail enamel, but to my surprise, it was a tint! I had never tried a lip tint before and the packaging just kind of forced me to buy this and after a week (really fast shipping), it reached me. The packaging is so cuteand girly! I just kept staring at it for a few moments before actually opening it.
So, Do I like this lip tint? Yes! I Do! 😀
Peripera water lip tint “Orange Juice” is a bright orange shade. But hold on! It comes off as a soft reddish orange stain on my lips. I love the result, it looks very natural! It very light weight and comfortable on lips.
It smells of orange candy but if you happen to lick your lips, you would get a little bitter taste. The doe foot applicator holds a lot of product, so I make sure to swirl it around the bottle and press it before applying the tint on my lips. Since it’s much pigmented, I suggest you to use the quantity little by little and then, build the pigmentation according to your own need. I don’t have dry lips, so I need to use a transparent balm with this tint only after some 3 hours because by that time, I feel a little dryness. People with dry lips would surely need a lip balm underneath or top of it. It stays on my lips according to the intensity I make. It has a tendency of settling into lines, so take care of that aspect. With a medium intensity, it stays on my lips for more than 3 hours without meals and with meals, the intensity dies down very much. But I don’t mind re-applying since I love the natural result so much. I haven’t used it on my cheeks since the stain will only emphasize the red acne scars on my face.
6.5 ml is quite a lot quantity, I don’t know when I would finish it since I keep trying new lip products but as and when I finish it, I would surely re-purchase this.
How I use it: I press the applicator on my lips with little dots, spread it with the applicator. I take more if I need to build on more intensity. I wait for 30 minutes before I drink/eat after applying it.
