No7 Fanomenal Lashes Mascara is one of the best mascaras I have used till date. Not like I have used many, but yes! Quite a few.
When I first opened this mascara, I thought the wand was broken. I was shocked since it came sealed. I went online to search for its reviews and felt relieved to see that the actual shape of the wand is like this only. The company claims this to be a star shaped wand so as to provide better control application, separating and lengthening of eye lashes. Quite unique!
This mascara comes in a silvery shiny packaging as you can see which is also prone to getting fingerprints. This is one annoying part for me.
The formula is quite good, not too dry or not too wet. I used two coats on my upper lashes and as you can see in the pictures, not only it has separated my lashes beautifully but has also lengthened them. One more good thing about this mascara is that it feels very light on my lashes. My lashes still feel soft and not brittle, as is the case with most mascaras. It dries fast too, so I don’t have to wait on and on to put on my glasses. The effect stays on for 5-6 hours after which the effect wears down a little. The wand is such that it lets me coat even the inner lashes easily. Also, it’s not a pain to remove!
There’s a tendency of little clumping but it can be taken care of easily. I hadn’t had any problems with smudging or flaking with this. Though I would update this review again when I wear this in the hot humid climate of Delhi, which is to arrive soon.
Mascara is a very personal thing. Though I like using transparent ones most of the times, I guess I’m in for a mood of change now and wouldn’t mind sporting fake eyelashes with this mascara. Super useful for a girl like me who wears glasses. This just enhances the eye look satisfactorily!
