Nivea refreshing toner review

I think ‘toners’ is the most neglected step in a skincare routine, especially by people who have a dry skin type. Speaking for people with oily-combination skin (like me), this category has worked out really well for me. With dedicated usage of a particular toner, it really helps in controlling oil to a good extent as well as refining the size of large pores. What is your favourite step in your skincare routine? Do you use toners?

Coming to the review of the Nivea refreshing toner,

Looking at the sea blue bottle alone gives me a refreshing feeling and, well talking about its performance:

– The consistency is very runny like water.

– It has a refreshing fragrance, though very mild.

– It removes all traces of dirt.

– It’s very gentle on skin and has never made my combination skin dry. It also contains alcohol as one of its ingredients.

– The packaging is travel friendly.

– It does not work on lightning acne marks, even temporarily.

– It does not contain parabens.

– I haven’t seen any good improvement as far as the pore size is concerned. I think it’s been 1-1.5 months since I started using it.

– It helps in calming acne slowly.

– It’s affordable.

– It’s easily available.

If you are looking for a toner that doesn’t dry out your skin and removes dirt effectively, you may give this a try.

I wouldn’t be re-purchasing it for sure. I would try other brands or may be, buy Kaya toner again. The Kaya purifying toner surely felt a better match for my skin type. The ‘mandelic acid’ in it did really benefit my skin.
