If my skin problems weren’t enough, my already troubling hair started to trouble me more. I have an oily scalp with dry, frizzy and wavy hair. I just hate this hair combination! And now, I don’t know why but my dry hairs have become drier. Though my hair texture is good and I don’t experience hair fall, but I just don’t like how my hair have got so drier than before. Imagine my horror when someday I feel like leaving my hair open, half tied (Strictly, in winters only!) and when I reach my college and go for the wash room, my hair look dry and fluffy like a broom! Initially, I thought this is because of the cold winds but even in the humid weather which was there in Delhi a few days back, the situation was no different.
And now, there’s one more addition in my handbag> a hair serum! To tame my hair! Damn!
I had read really good reviews about this hair serum online with only a few average ones and I feel sad to know that I too fall in the average rating category for this product.
It claims: Gives up to 24-hour anti-frizz protection, softness and natural-looking shine to any style. Best for thick, frizzy, way or difficult to manage hair.
I take out one pump and apply it on my damp hair as soon as I towel dry them.
Well, it definitely adds shine to the hair, controls frizz (not for 24 hour for me) nicely, and provides moisture to my hair but not enough moisture for my very dry hair! If I take out more than one pump, it weighs down my hair and my hair strands look oily the very next day. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhh!! 🙁
Then, about the packaging, this one doesn’t come with a cap to cover the pump. Although the pump is sturdy, but you still never know! Another drawback is when a little serum is left at the end, it doesn’t comes out through the pump. I have to take out directly through the bottle.
In short, it not only lacks good packaging but it also isn’t enough for my very dry hair. If I had to compare it with Matrix Biolage serum, I would say that how it’s different from it is that it provides a little more manageable hair. The frizz control by both is just the same.
