I went yesterday for Diwali home decor shopping and bought a lot. Though candles are my all season love, but I was running short of scented candles. I bought scented candles in flavours of rasberry and lavendar. Love them.
Diwali’s just tomorrow.. For those who don’t know what it is,
On Diwali, the goddess Laxmi, a symbol of prosperity, is worshipped. People wear new clothes, share sweets and light firecrackers ( Though I Hate Firecrackers, Animals disturbed, Asthema patients disturbed, Senior citizens disturbed.. sleep disturbed., So far I have managed to make a ban on fire crackers in my family atleast..phew!) The North Indian business community usually starts their financial new year on Diwali and new account books are opened on this day.
The Diwali or Deepavali festival marks the victory of good over evil.
