MAYBELLINE COLOR TATTOO EYESHADOW IN BOLD GOLD REVIEW AND SWATCH

MAYBELLINE COLOR TATTOO EYESHADOW IN BOLD GOLD REVIEW:
*Whistle, Whistle, Whistle* so, finally Maybelline has launched their colour tattoo eye shadows in India!!
I really like Maybelline  for their products and their price range except for the price hikes they do. This one too comes with a brush. Though the brush has a very good quality, it’s soft, doesn’t bleeds or sheds after washing, but it’s of no use for this particular eye shadow though. Why? Read further.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Gel Shadow description

Maybelline Color Tattoo combines the highest-quality pigments with glossy particles to give immediate rich color payoff with a luminous finish in just one application. Its long-lasting formulation will not crease or smudge under the most extreme conditions and its creamy and elastic texture allows for easy blending.
  • The shadows glide on instinctively, hugging the curves of the eyelid, and gives your eyes a powdery finish for up to 16 hours of long-wearing, waterproof color.
  • The eyeshadow is created with Ink Technology hence it doesn’t fade off easily.
  • Available in 5 different shades.

My sis brought this for me while on a nearby shopping trip. She told me that something new has been launched in Maybelline and when she told me after checking that it’s something called ‘Color tattoo eye shadows’, I literally jumped out of the bed and told her to recheck again. Then, I asked her to pick any one for me and come home. She picked this particular shade, and to be honest, I would never pick up this shade unless I need it to match with any outfit of mine.
·       Bold Gold shade is a strong gold with strong yellow undertones and a lot of shimmer.
·       It’s not really creamy. You can’t afford to apply it with the brush provided.
·       You have to be very fast in blending it and therefore, fingers are the best bet.
·       It doesn’t really match with my warmer skin tone.
·       Coming with a brush, the price is decent (I don’t like saying inexpensive, people scream it, companies hear it and we see price hikes).
·       It has a lot of shimmer.
·       The quantity is quite a lot.
·       Can be used as eyeliner too.
·       My best trick of using this is to apply it in the inner corner till the middle of the lids with brown eye shadow smudged from there.
Overall, this particular shade is going to sit in my vanity for a long time unless something special comes up. Though I’m definitely going to try the other shades.
